We believe that Jesus is the only begotten son of the Holy God. Everything begins with this belief.

Affiliations and Church Leadership

We are members of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Missouri Baptist Convention, and the Greene County Baptist Association. 

Our church is led by a team of elders (headed by the pastor), a team of deacons, worship leaders, ministry leaders, small group leaders, etc. The leadership teams serve Jesus to the best of their abilities, and seek His will in all decisions.

Southern Baptists adhere to the principles discussed in the Baptist Faith & Message (2000). Additionally, Harvest Hill has adopted documents that lay out our church doctrine (available upon request), but when you boil it down, it all points back to Jesus. Even if you decide to attend another church, be sure you attend one that focuses solely upon Jesus.

Our Church Motto: "Love God. Love People." 

This is an abbreviated version of Jesus' statement found in Matthew 22:36-40 where He is responding to a question from a lawyer among the Pharisees and Sadducees:
 

36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
